Happy Baby

What a difference a week or so makes. You're almost 6 weeks old and starting fall into a normal baby routine which includes you being happy and awake for a little longer in the day. Yay!

I finally broke out our baby floor gym and you love looking at the animals, shapes, and colors. Big sister, Maevy, loves moving all the hanging items from spot to spot. You are coo-ing, gaa-ing, smiling, and even laughing at Mommy when I talk to you or make silly sounds.

You love being outdoors and yesterday while Mommy and Daddy socialized with some friends at a birthday party, you slept in your carseat, outside in beautiful (not too hot) June weather. Everyone thought you were the best baby ever.

I can already tell you are going to be a jumper. (note to self: borrow a friend's bouncy-thing soon) You love when Mom and Dad bounce with you, and you love pushing off with your legs/standing.

One last note- lately you and big sister have been taking baths together. I need to grab a photo of this because it's pretty funny seeing you both in that baby-toddler tub. Daddy has been supervising, of course, and Maevy likes "helping". I think you like the company. :)
