Hey Cart-
At your last ENT visit with Dr. Goudy. He went ahead and ordered your CT scan. We knew he would eventually want to do the scan to check to see if the development of your cochlear was normal. If not, then there would be a higher risk of worsened hearing loss as you got older or if you incurred head trauma.
Even though the scan took only 1 minute, we had to sedate with an IV. You were great for all of it, and Mommy was able to stay with you the entire time. You were pretty hilarious when the medicine kicked in, and adorable when you woke up. You drank a full sippy cup of apple juice, burped and then asked for more.
Afterwards we headed to the Biscuit House for a late breakfast. You were beyond thrilled to get a "biscuit!" plus some pancake and sausage. We spent the rest of the day cuddling and watching Sesame Street. We fit in a hair cut, trip to the library, and then visited several Holly Street classrooms before picking up Maevy early.
You were a great patient and all the nurses swooned over your big brown eyes, curls and the way you pronounced stethoscope. Dr. Goudy's nurse already called last night with the results, and all was normal. Hooray!
Lastly - water play started this week- You look pretty excited! I think Daddy is pretty excited about your Nats swimsuit!
Love you Cart-
Momma
