11th Birthday!

Annual Update:

Things you love:

1. Nintendo Switch
With Jenny's help, you did a bake sale last summer and helped buy your Ninentendo Switch. You've been obssessed since - vbucks, Fortnite, Star Wars lego, and even asking for monitor for your room for your birthday.

2. Volunteering/Working-
You still love meeting new people, helping out, and even better - making money. Just recently you ended up (randomly) helping out in the EN Baseball snack shack one day, and then the staff leader reached out to me to ask if you wanted to help regularly -"You were better than some employees that have been there for years!" Best of all- you take home some tip money and get a free slushie or candy. :)

3. Golf-
Not sure if you love love it, but you are still playing. Hannah, an employee at First Tee, loves you and you were awarded a scholarship for the advanced golf camp this summer!

2022 Goals:
1. Writing/Spelling -
You've been working hard and made such great progress with Ms. Liz. You always have TCAP testing during your birthday. She was nice and brought you lunch!

2. Independent Homework-
This has been great. You have a schedule that you made yourself when you get home. After a few bad test grades, you even studied!

Bedtime update: Sleeping in your bed - all the time!
This one cracks me up because you were doing great, and this last week you saw a spider near your bed and you've on various couches since.

2023 Goals:
1. Getting to school independently-
Hoping you bike to Litton, walk home, etc.

2. Successful middle school transition-
Really hope you embrace any challenges, get your work done, and advocate for yourself!

8th Birthday

Annual Update:

Things you love:1. Art/STEM-
Here are a few pics of things you've created this year. You love experiments, cooking, and building. One weekend - I just looked out in the backyard and you making a table with the drill!

You made this apple dish out of clay and even a little spot for peanut butter!
Out of clay - it's perfect for your ears when you are in the pool -

You made this entire house out of cardboard, toothpicks, and paper!
 You made a charging station-

2. Lego-
You do still love building, especially with Daddy- and we have bought even more sets. When you get a new one, you immediately sit down for hours to finish it! We loved watching the Lego Masters competition show together.

3. Outgoing-
Your outgoing-ness will never cease to amaze me. You just love meeting people, asking questions, and making new friends.

Things you have done on your own-
At Seagrove - rode your bike (with Maevy), got fish from the fish market for dinner.

In Nashville, went into a gas station (with a mask) bought your own snack, and when you got the wrong thing, you went back in and returned it.

Goals:1. Writing/Spelling -
You are doing great, but I hope to see these skills improve over the next year!

2. Independent Learning
As we get into 3rd grade, I would love see your independent learning abilities improve. You really love attention, and tend to rely help from your teachers, friends, and myself. I really hope we can make progress on your building your confidence and desire for initiative.

Bedtime update:
Huge news- you are sleeping in your bed! It only took 8 years!

We moved your room around, and took off the loft stairs. You love your bottom little spot! Sometimes - you still fall asleep in my bed, but when Daddy is around he moves you. When he's gone - you do still sleep with me, but I don't really mind.

Daddy made you special messages on his sign, and you still had a great day!

Ms. Katie sent you some fun origami!
