Picture recap from the first part of this year ..
The one day it actually snowed this this winter. I'm so glad I bought snowsuits for everyone! You and June ventured out for maybe 10 minutes.
The valentine's that you decided to get...
You started drums, and you are still taking lessons. It's been a month! success!
From Family Math & Reading night -
From the Teddy Bear clinic at the Zoo - you and Maevy were actually into getting the stuffed animal checked out. :)
Your timeline project! I was pleased with your focus and hard work to get it completed.
From spirit/read-a-thon week - wear a hat day

Lastly - we had a fun couple of weeks in February. I got a call from Nurse Ginny and she told me that you accidentally flushed an entire processor, down the toilet. Come to find out, you don't like the toilet flushing sound. Right before you flushed, you removed the magnet and the entire thing fell off your head and into the toilet and then you flushed it. You felt really bad, but your team of teachers and Ms. Tanoa were all there to help in record time. You now have a new bathroom routine, since you still don't like the toilet flushing sound. You take them off and leave them outside the bathroom before you use it. AB, luckily has a good warranty policy and replaced everything lost (the processor, the battery, and the magnet, and the Roger receiver). I also order an extra Roger receiver from ebay. You were back up and running with 2 ears within a couple days. I was surprised that just after 2 days of non-usage, your left ear was atrophied and you complained the sound wasn't great when we received the new one. But again I was very thankful that you kept trying and recognized that it started to sound better after you wore it longer.
Goodness. We made it through. It's always fun dealing with wearable technology, essential for communication!
In related, but separate great news- as of February you are officially out of reading intervention. You are right on track for 1st grade benchmark targets. It's very obvious that your reading has taken off and I love it when you are surprised by your own abilities when reading street signs.
Love you lots! Keep up the great work!
