1st Grade so far

So far 1st grade is going pretty good.

You are right where you need to be at Reading level E, up from D when you started the school year. I think the small group time with Ms. Smith has been great for you. 

Below is your STEM project -something you actually made with Daddy over the summer, but made it work for your project.

 Play dates with Willa- still your bestie

The time that I took you all to the Jane Mount signing - you proceeded to eat all  the cheese available, be the 1st one in line for the book signing, almost had her sign the book made out to " Carter", and then misplaced the signed book when we were trying to leave the store. 

 

At the Touch a Truck event - you went on every truck and honked every possible horn. You were the 2nd person after your sister to go in the helicopter. You had the guy turn on the concrete truck so you could move the concrete thing. 

 Then you got a cool haircut and occasionally use Dad's pomade to style it.
