Spring Break 2020- Seagrove

Despite the tornado, and the start of the Covid-19 pandemic we headed to Seagrove for our spring break. By the end of the week, both the beach and pool was closed - due to the virus. 

The weather was great, and I guess it was a good way to start isolation/quarantining. We even stayed longer. School closed for a month, and there was nothing to go back to.

Surprise Disney Trip!

Look who got a surprise trip to Disney with M & Pop!

We seriously did not even tell you until you were on the bus to the airport with Daddy, M & Pop. At first it was just a surprise that M & Pop showed up at our house last Wednesday morning. Then it was surprise that you were going on a plane. I don't think the Disney stuff really hit you until you got to the Orlando airport and saw the Mickey statue. Daddy, unfortunately spent the 3 days at a sign conference.

You, on the other hand, had a blast with M & Pop. Unlike your sister, it sounds like you love the roller coasters. Finally - I need someone to go on roller coasters with me!

Mini-get-away

Over the long Labor Day weekend - on a whim - we decided to do a mini-get-away to Clarksville only 30 minutes away.

You guys packed your own bags :) - which included you only packing Darth Vader slippers! Guess who wore slippers everywhere!?

Highlights included -
Swimming in the indoor pool with a hot tub!
Dinner at Noodles 'n Company
Frozen Yogurt at Berry Bear for dessert
Movie in bed - Maevy put us all to bed..but you eventually fell asleep between Mom and Dad
Sleeping in
McDonald's pancake breakfast in the room
Playtime at a cool playground near the Cumberland River

Pretty fun to me..hope we can do it again soon!
