Your speech follow-up went well last week. Your expressive vocabulary increased this last month by 60 words; so you're well within range of your hearing peers. No major goals were discussed for this month, but Miss Geneine did give us a Comprehension check list that includes major concepts, adjectives, and early two/three word phrases for your age group.
Some of your favorite current phrases are:
Carter, That's Carter! That's Carter's! (your Carter is more articulate now, and you use it often. )
You've shorten "up please" to uppey. It's both cute and annoying.
Help please.
I got ball.(or other items)
I did it!
I'm messy. I'm ready.
I want (various things).
I need (various things).
I see (various things).
Mommy/Daddy sit. I need (various things).
I see (various things).
Light on/off.
Hat on/off.
That's silly.
Have good day!
Wuv you.
Guh Morning!
Hi/Bye (everyone)
Right now we're really working on colors, shapes, counting, and singining. We do love when you try to sing Frozen's "Let It Go" with Maevy, and your "ABCs" are getting better. Keep up the good work!
Here are some pretty cute pics from school during Dr. Suess week.
