Lost Lovie again!

I swear Car-car -  Your lovie is going to be the end of us. While I'm all in favor or giving babies a lovie/blankie to help them learn to self-sooth. You and puppy dog lovie need to be in therapy.

I think we have 5 or 6 of them. Have officially lost 2 or 3 of them. We borrowed/were given an additional one from the Warrens. And we've lost and then found them countless times. Oh and lately - you are demanding to only use the one that has 2 tags, which technically has 3 tags - and it's not even one of the original ones. You outright refuse to use 2 or 3 of them that are newer, have no tags, and aren't even close to being "worn-in".

Well - Sunday right before your birthday party was no exception. I guess Daddy let you bring one A. in the car (big mistake), and B. into Kroger (big mistake # 2).

Then a couple hours later - I get a text from Bennett's mom, who had gotten a text from her friend - asking "Didn't Bennett go to a "Carter's" birthday party today?"  Because the below had been posted on both the East Nashville and Inglewood facebook pages -

You and Daddy must have made an impression when you got the balloons - because A. She gave you an extra balloon for free, B. She even randomly gave you $1 bill for your birthday?, and C. She kept very good care of your lovie once it was dropped, left, and lost.

Daddy picked up the lovie after the party and returned the $1 bill as a thank you.

Later that night - I got an email from Holly Street asking if we had a seen the post and a call from Aunt Lesley in MN who had also seen the post!

So silly...

I keep threatening that lovies aren't allowed in Pre-k. We'll see....
