1st Grade Parent-Teacher Conference

Car-car-

We had a great meeting with Ms. Smith and Tanoa. They think you are doing great, and have no major concerns. They are pleased with your level of participation and effort. Ms. Smith's mantra- is "try your best" and she's hardcore when she doesn't think that is happening and asks you to try again- like better hand writing, etc. She gave us some things to work on, but overall she's happy with your progress.

Other things of note:
- Being too talkative can sometimes be distracting to your school work.
- You are friends with everyone and especially who is at your table currently.
- You get along with everyone.
- You are very self-aware - and know that maybe you're not at the top of the class, but you're not at the bottom. (See your self-assessment.)
- You come into the classroom everyday with a smile on your face.
- You have been a great self-advocate for your "ears" and always tell Ms. Smith when she's not muting the Roger pen when speaking with another classmate.
- Tanoa thinks this is great classroom/learning setting for you, and noted you are one of the first to always raise your hand and want to attribute during circle time.

All in all- Daddy and I are crazy proud of you, happy to hear that are making great progress and that you are putting forth your best effort!

A book you made with Ms. Tanoa-
