Christmas = Covid

The holiday season started off fine. We saw Santa at church, were all still wearing masks in public spaces, showing vaccination cards before shows. All were vaccinated and I was even boosted. Then Dad and I went to a s mall fundraising event, and got breakthrough covid from our dear friend, Jenny, the week before Christmas.

One by one everyone showed symptoms and tested positive - first Dad, then  me, then Maevy and June, then you. We tested a bunch, quaratined, slept, and most lost voices. You had a fun approach, and said "I'm not worried. I'm vaccinated!"

I was very thankful we were all vaccinated and our symptoms were insanely mild. An extra nap, a runny noise, and scratchy throat for a couple days, that was about it.

Because of covid, Christmas came early! No more fun times with a babysitter. Instead it was fun times with your new gifts - a hover board, stem kits, vr kit, and more.

Because of covid, we cancelled the ski trip to NC, and headed to the beach with the Piper-Osbournes. We all had covid anyway - so who cares!

Post beach, pot covid - trying sushi for the 1st time at the downtown food hall!
