Cart-dawg!
You're 2 months today! Yay! This month was busy. We had lots of doctor's appointments and meetings with all the wonderful people that are going to help make sure you are hearing and developing on time. You started "school", and Mommy headed back to work. Your main teachers are Ms. Bonnie,
Ms. Tina, and
Ms. Thalia.
Your first week went pretty well. We're still working on figuring out your daytime nap schedule, but you enjoyed hanging outside and being held by Ms. Thalia. Plus Maevy is super excited to have "her own baby" at school with her. Her classmate, Carmen, also has a brother in the nursery. Nicco is few months older, but I'm sure you all will be friends soon.
I have no doubt that all of your teachers will take great care of you during the day, and when you are a little older, you are going to get to do lots of fun things like baby-art and music!
Also this month Mom and Dad picked out your hearing aids and first set of ear molds. Daddy wanted to order everything in Washington Nationals colors, but Mom thought that was a little much. Instead we ordered beige hearing aids (that will hopefully last until you are 3) and red/white swirled ear molds. We thought something with color might help us and your teachers if one were to fall out. We get to pick a new color in a couple months. I can't wait until you are older and get to pick out your own colors!
So everything is ordered and you will have them in a few weeks. Exciting! Stayed tuned for pics and a video!
Lastly, we had your 2 month doctor's appointment. Dr. M said you are doing great. You had your first set of shots, which was rough, but only for a second. Your face turned bright red (not happy), but you did sleep most of the afternoon which was nice for Mommy.
Here are your growth stats- You are still huge. :) Mommy has a co-worker who has a 6 month old daughter, who is also 13 lbs.
Weight: 13lb (75%)
Height: 23 1/2 (75%)
Head Circumference: 15 1/2 (60%)
Goals for next month- let's work on dropping one of those night time feedings. Got it, Carter?
Love you,
Mommy

Adorable!! I think he looks so much like Maevy! I bet it will be pretty neat the first time he has those aids in!
